Vision CoffeeDNA
"CoffeeDNA" is developed as a web based interface with the
data, pertained to Coffee genomics, maintained by University of Trieste.
Established in 2004 as a web resource for Coffee scientists.
The mission of CoffeeDNA is the diffusion and dissemination of molecular
data and molecular tools within the coffee scientific community. The availability
of the data, even in isolated and remote laboratories, should promote
a better understanding of Coffea genome and, ultimately, promote crop
improvement and beverage quality.
Access Today
CoffeeDNA web site has been designed also as a possible tool for collaboration
among different scientists, as detailed in the submission form. The web
site is open to any scientist of non-profit institutions willing to collaborate. The database includes the comprehensive information on the large coffee
germplasm; Coffea specific Microsatellites; Transposons; SNPs; Expressed
Sequence Tags sequences; Gene profiling based of ESTs; Web tools in bioinformatics
and more. Only the sequence data requires registration
CoffeeDNA invites resources from other research group through formal colloboration,
so as to ensure accessibility and sharing of information. Click here for the detailed procedures
